World of Warcraft Cataclysm: 4.7 Million Sold
World Of Warcraft: Cataclysm soundtrack from Blizzard hit iTunes. It is a special edition soundtrack that adds several digital extras to the album.
The latest edition in the World of Warcraft franchise topped the sales chart during the holidays with more than 4.7 million copies sold in the first month, making it the best-selling PC in any month.
With sales of 3.3 million copies in the first 24 hours, it was already the fast-selling PC game on Day 1.
The LP features 17 songs from the game. It also includes artwork, liner notes, and behind-the-scenes interviews. The "Cataclysm" package costs $9.99 to download.
If you previously purchased the soundtrack through iTunes, Blizzard says you'll be able to get the extras for no additional charge.
